Nicki Minaj had a few colorways of Air Jordans created in 2014 to promote her album The Pinkprint and one of the Barbie pink samples has now surfaced online.

Rare sneaker collector EnglishSole debuted the Grade School-sized kicks inspired by Nicki’s pink-splashed third studio album on Tuesday (January 10).

The Jordan 6 boasts a hot neon pink and transforms to a vibrant purple from the toe to the heel while using a white leather base and gradient finish.

Nicki’s The Pinkprint logo is also emblazoned across the sneaker’s spine while the sole pops thanks to a rose pink inside.

The “Nicki Minaj” Jordan 6’s never received an official release as a select amount of pairs were made for Nicki and close friends and family. According to SneakerNews, Jordan made “several exclusive for Minaj and team in the mid-2010s.”

The Young Money icon also rocked another pair of Jordan 6’s in the racy cover art for her “Anaconda” single. The photo found Nicki leaving nothing to the imagination in a pink thong with a pair of custom azure blue 6’s, which were also never officially released to the masses.

The Pinkprint arrived in December 2014 and debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 with 244,000 total album-equivalent units sold in its first week. The LP was powered by singles such as the aforementioned “Anaconda,” “Only” featuring Lil Wayne, Drake, and Chris Brown as well as the Beyoncé-assisted “Feeling Myself.”

Speaking to Nicki Minaj’s longevity, the Queens legend recently surpassed Missy Elliott as the longest-charting female rapper with Hot 100 song entries every year from 2010 through 2023 thanks to her latest single “Super Freaky Girl.” The song previously peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 last August and has remained on the chart for 20 weeks.

According to Chart Data, the rap deities had been tied for the record, before Minaj edged out Elliott on New Year’s Day (January 1). Missy boasted chart entries every year from 1996 through 2008.
